What are typical UK copywriter rates, and how do mine compare?
You’re the client, so it’s up to you how I charge. I can invoice you based on an hourly rate, or we can agree a set price for the work before I begin.
I operate a very simple pricing structure, that I believe is fair both to you and me. If I quote for the job rather than per hour, this will still be based on the same hourly rate.
As a middleweight copywriter, GBP £50 per hour – or £350 per day – is my standard rate for 2023 to 2024.
According to Pro Copywriter, the average day rate in 2023 was £433. Juniors typically charge about £250 a day, while seniors command around £800 to £2,000 per day.
I can, and do, quote and bill in other currencies such as, EUR, USD or AUD. Just ask!

The average number of words per hour I can write is around 500. This does vary, according to the amount of research required.
